Langston Hughes is a person who has went to many places and represented the people that he visited in america.

ReplyDeleteIt stands out to me that Langston Hughes was a great writer but was rejected because he was black. I noticed having "Mother to Son" read to me that it is a dramatic poem about life and to keep going on. When the poem was read to me I felt sad because I noticed how ruff life must have been to the reader by implying it by saying things such as tacks and broken floorboards in the stairs. The reader might have been dramatic to get the full effect of the story.
ReplyDeleteSomething I learned was that Langston Hughes moved because of the racism in the U.S. he went to Africa to france then he was going to Italy he got robbed then he both went to cuba and haiti and then to Russia then he finally went back the the U.S.
