Who Was Langston Hughes?

  2. It would be really horrible to be Langston Hughes, when he had his wallet stolen in Italy and had no way back home.

  4. I think that the racism in his life really stands out; it matters because in the slideshow Langston Hughes said that how he got through the racism really inspired a lot of people.

  8. It stands out to me that Langston Hughes was a great writer but was rejected because he was black. I noticed having "Mother to Son" read to me that it is a dramatic poem about life and to keep going on. When the poem was read to me I felt sad because I noticed how ruff life must have been to the reader by implying it by saying things such as tacks and broken floorboards in the stairs. The reader might have been dramatic to get the full effect of the story.

  9. Something I learned was that Langston Hughes moved because of the racism in the U.S. he went to Africa to france then he was going to Italy he got robbed then he both went to cuba and haiti and then to Russia then he finally went back the the U.S.

  11. Langston Huges was a outstanding man to me. He has went to many different many places and he represented people he visted in Africa.
