  1. My country is Cuba. One thing that was intreresting to me was that the rumba, mambo, and cha-cha dances was made in Cuba. In Cuba there is more than 2 million residents. Cuba's official language is Spanish. People are required to learn english there in school. The biggest thing im excited about is the things people do there. The activities, sports and hobbies. :)

  3. My country is the Dominican Republic. The country has the 2nd largest number of pro baseball players. The most popular game to play is dominoes. Children also like to play a game called Thumper. I am most excited to learn about their lifestyle.

Some intresting facts about Barbados is that Rihanna is from Barbados, the blus on the flag is for water and the gold is for the sandy beaches in Barbados, and Barbados is Portuguese for bearded ones. I am most excited to learn about some of the wildlife that can be found at Barbados.

  6. 87% of Salvadorans are mixed with Spanish and Native Americans heritages.
    Everyone in El Salvador learns how to play soccer as soon as they can walk, and a common food in El Salvador is a Cornmeal Cake. I'm most intrested to learn about the life style of the children of El Salvador because most people in El Salvador are poor and work on farms or have to drop out of school.

  7. My country is the Bahamas!!!
    The first thing I learned is that their anthem doesn't have any lyrics or words in it.
    The second thing I learned is that Christopher Columbus landed in the Bahamas in 1492.
    The third thing I learned is that Bahamas time is 3 hours ahead of Kent, WA.
    I am most excited about the making johny cake and Guava Duff

    -This country is named after a Portugese phrase "Bearded One" because of the bearded fig trees around Barbados
    -Rhianna is from Saint Michael, Barbados
    -Cricket is the national sport of Barbados
    Some things I am excited to learn about is what sorts of recipes are in Barbados, and about the geography of the country (Mountains, Lakes, Jungles, etc.)

  13. My country is Mexico. The Mexican government owns pemex. Another thing is that Spanish is the official Mexican language . one other thing is that Mexican food is different in united states. i am most excited to know more about is how the money works in Mexico.

    the average life span of a male in the dominican republic is 71 years old and for a female in the dominican republic is 76 years old.

  15. My country is Jamaica
    Three interesting facts are
    1. A lot of tourists go to Jamaica.
    2. Farmers grow sugarcane there along with bananas,coconuts, coffee and citrus fruits.
    3. Jamaica is home to many birds, mongooses, bats, crocodiles, frogs, lizards. Plants that grow there are Bamboo, Rosewood trees, Ferns, Cacti, Orchids.
    An exciting thing i learned is they grow sugarcane to make raw sugar,molasses and rum.

    Three facts that i learned was that they have south, and north American animals.Plus they have a hanging bridge that people walk over. And my last thing that i learned was that they have live Volcanoes
